Nominator's project description
| Professor Farag is an innovative thinker who has developed novel approaches to utilize metabolomics in his quest to find biologically active agents. He was a member of the Global Young Academy and a founding member of the Egyptian Young Academy of Sciences. He is dedicated to building bridges between the Arab world and the international community. In Germany, he will continue to study the effect of various stressors on the metabolome of marine organisms and discover potential pharmacologically interesting compounds. |
